ENLP grant

Funding is available for those lucky enough to secure a place on the European Nutrition Leadership Programme (ENLP). Once you have a secured place please apply for your funding.  If you live or work in Ireland this should be via the Irish Section ENLP form.

Please note: We do try to help as many members as possible to attend the ENLP, but funding for this is limited and depending on numbers we may not be able to cover the whole cost if several members apply.

If you are already a member of the Society and have secured a place on the ENLP, you may be eligible for funding. The amount of funding you will receive is subject to the number of members applying.

Applicants must be current members of this Nutrition Society and have been so for at least two consecutive years, and they must still be members when they are due to travel to the event.  They must not have received a grant in the last three years.

Our decision to award an ENLP grant is discretionary and final. There is a fixed budget to support two ENLP candidates; if more than two members apply, we reserve the right to reduce the funding to all if all of the applicants are eligible.

You must have already secured a place on ENLP to apply for the grant.

When applying for an ENLP grant, you must meet all of the following criteria:

1: You must have a confirmed place on the ENLP to apply for the grant.

2: You are a student, graduate, or early career member of The Nutrition Society and have been a member of the Society for at least two consecutive years at the time of applying.

3: You will be a member of The Society at the time of the conference.

4: You are not receiving another grant or financial support from the Irish Section for this same event.

5: You have not received a conference or other grant from the Society or the Irish Section at any time during the last three years.

Application deadline: midnight on the 31 March 2026.
