The Public Health Nutrition second edition textbook was launched yesterday (18 May 2017) at the Royal Society in London.

Professor Judith Buttriss (British Nutrition Foundation) Senior Editor of the second edition opened the launch, followed by Professor Louis Levy (Public Health England) and textbook editor Dr John Kearney (Dublin Institute of Technology) who chaired the presentations throughout the afternoon.

A combination of editors and authors of the textbook presented an overview of their chapter to highlight the five key sections of the new textbook to a varied audience consisting of senior academics, nutritionists from industry and senior officials and figures within public health.

The well attended event provided insight into the revised textbook, by reflecting the latest evidence-based knowledge and research in Public Health Nutrition.  Comprehensive in both its scope and approach the Public Health Nutrition second edition has been fully revised by an expert editorial team (pictured from left to right); Professor Ailsa Welch, University of East Anglia (Editor), Professor Judith Buttriss, British Nutrition Foundation (Senior Editor), Professor Susan Lanham-New, University of Surrey (Editor in Chief), and Dr John Kearney, Dublin Institute of Technology (Editor).

The Public Health Nutrition second edition textbook is available to pre-order on the Wiley Blackwell website.
