We are very pleased to announce that as of 1 November, The Nutrition Society’s esteemed British Journal of Nutrition (BJN) will now be publishing accepted manuscripts online ahead of FirstView publications.
In the fast-paced world of today we believe this will be an excellent development for both our authors and readers. Not only will this significantly speed up the acceptance to publication process, but this change will also allow papers to be read and cited more quickly.
Accepted articles will be published online, prior to typesetting and copy-editing, within 2-4 working days of arrival in production. At this point the article will have a DOI and be considered citable and published.
The Society is looking forward to making upcoming new papers available using this process.
