The Nutrition Society Julie Wallace Lecture, in memory of Professor Julie Wallace and her sustained commitment to supporting and promoting early career researchers, is an award that recognises early stage scientific excellence in the field of nutrition.
The Nutrition Society are pleased to announce the judges have selected Dr Javier Gonzalez from University of Bath as the successful applicant. Dr Gonzalez has been awarded the Nutrition Society Julie Wallace Lecture 2018 for his research entitled ‘Nutrition and hepatic glucose metabolism’.
Dr Gonzalez will present his research at the Irish Section Conference 2018: Targeted approaches to tackling current nutritional issues on 21 June 2018 at University of Ulster.
