Nutrition advice after spinal injury - HELP

I have only recently finished my degree in Nutrition and Health and I have come accross a client who has had a spinal cord injury and is now confined to a wheel chair.

I am aware that this influences the metabolic needs because the muscles of the legs and potentially the core muscles are likely to be more or less 'broken' down because of the inability to use them. Furthermore it potentially influences the kidney and bladder function as well as the bowel movemment. I was trying to find a Nutritionist registered with the Society who would have specialist knowledge as I am not confident to give allround advice but I struggled to find someone.

Maybe you could contact me in regards to that, as I do not want to say I cannot advice you without giving an opportunity to get the right advice.

Kind regards Andrea
