Welcome to The Nutrition Society

The Nutrition Society was established in 1941 'to advance the scientific study of nutrition and its application to the maintenance of human and animal health'. Highly regarded by the scientific community, the Society is the largest learned society for nutrition in Europe. Membership is worldwide but most members live in Europe.

Membership is open to those with an interest in the science of human or animal nutrition.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership is worldwide and is open to applicants who can demonstrate 'a genuine interest in the science of human or animal nutrition'.

SECTIONS

The Irish Section includes over 250 Nutrition Society members and is chaired by Dr Mary Ward.

The Scottish Section of Nutrition Society has a mailing list of over 300 members and exists to arrange research meetings easily accessible to Scottish Members.
