The Society's Archive

The Nutrition Society’s Archive ensures the long-term preservation of records relating to the Society, the eNutrition Academy, and the Secretariats of IUNS and FENS. The Archive contains both analogue and digital information capturing the Society’s corporate memory since it was founded in 1941, in addition to showcasing the long history of collaboration between nutrition scientists. The political and social drivers behind the development of nutrition as a science are captured in its records. The Archive aims to support and enlighten the Society’s members, researchers, food anthropologists, nutritional science historians, social historians, educationalists, policy makers, and undergraduate and postgraduate students through the maintenance, curation, and exhibitions of its collection. On occasion, the Society also provides pre-course experience in archives and records management suitable for postgraduate students.
