Maria Wesolowska

Maria Wesolowska is a PhD researcher within the Nutrition Innovation Centre for Food and Health (NICHE) at Ulster University. She graduated from Ulster University with a BSc Hons in Human Nutrition. Her PhD research investigates fish as a source of selenium during pregnancy and its implications for mother and child health as part of the International Seychelles Child Development Study.

Maria is delighted to act as the Irish Section Student Representative for the Nutrition Society and to have the opportunity to promote the Society to fellow early career researchers and students who are passionate about nutrition,
