Lisa Kelliher

Lisa Kelliher is a third year PhD researcher within the Cork centre for Vitamin D and Nutrition Research, and The Irish Centre for Maternal and Child Health Research, at University College Cork. She completed her BSc Hons (First Class) in Nutrition and Health Science, at Cork Institute of Technology. Following this she progressed into her PhD programme, researching iodine intake in pregnancy and neurodevelopmental outcomes in infants.
In addition to being a nutrition society member, Lisa is also student representative for the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences, in the Postgraduate Committee, at University College Cork. Lisa looks forward to her role as student representative, interacting with Irish students over the coming year.
