Professor Keith Frayn is Emeritus Professor of Human Metabolism at the University of Oxford.

In the scientific field of nutrition and metabolism, Keith is a highly-respected contributor to the current understanding of fat metabolism, which has been the focus of his research for many years, as a member of the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism (OCDEM). He is the author of the very successful text book Metabolic Regulation: A Human Perspective (2010, Wiley-Blackwell) which is now in its third edition and illustrates how metabolic regulation allows the human body to adapt to many different conditions.
