IUNS Early Career Travel Bursary for FENS 2019

To assist with attending the FENS 2019 Conference in October, The International Union of Nutritional Sciences (IUNS) is sponsoring travel to the conference. The Early Career Travel Bursary programme is available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Travel bursaries are available to those who can least afford to attend scientific meetings and conferences around the world. The bursaries are reserved for those in the early stages of their careers i.e. within 10 years of higher degree graduation.  

Applicants are required to show proof of abstract submission, and submit a brief CV (maximum 1 page) and a supporting letter from the applicants IUNS adhering body, university or research centre. Bursaries will be awarded to applicants that receive approval for oral or poster presentation.

The funding will be offered to:

  • Applicants based in UK/Ireland up to £300
  • Applicants based in continental Europe up to £400
  • Applicants based outside continental Europe travel up to £600
