safefood Nutrition exchange programme

The Irish Section has a number of safefood funded bursaries, each up to a maximum value of £420/€500, available to all members of the Irish Section.  Again this year, safefood has kindly permitted for these bursaries to be used to attend virtual online events in the absence of physical events.  Several events can be included within one application, up to the total value per applicant.  Bursaries are only available to applicants based in Ireland (North & South) and applications will only be considered if submitted in advance of the conference/workshop to be attended.

Applicants are required to be current members of the Nutrition Society. Applications can be made for events  within the current year (2022).  Applications for travel between two centres on the island of Ireland to exchange expertise are particularly welcome.  A bursary may be split between two people where it is practical to do so.  Funding will be allocated on a rolling basis throughout the year, with a final deadline of 31st October 2022.
