This one day Biochemical Society training event is relevant for all HE bioscience lecturers, from early career to established academics, wanting to use e-learning to improve student engagement in and beyond the classroom. It will provide a comprehensive overview of e-learning methods in bioscience, with emphasis on virtual labs, creating apps for higher education, e-portfolios, personalized e-learning tools and audio feedback.

This workshop is aligned to descriptor 2 of the UK professional standards framework (UKPSF), so successful completion of the course can be used as evidence when applying to become a Fellow of the HEA. The areas of activities covered are K3 and V2 and participants can also claim 24 CPD credits for attending.
