All members of the Nutrition Society are welcome to attend the Nutrition Society Annual Charity Meeting (ACM). This meeting will provide members an update about the Society from presenting a financial overview of the Society’s accounts from 2018 – 2019 to updating members with the latest activities and initiatives the Society is planning or involved with. The meeting will be hosted by the Society's President, Professor Philip Calder and the Trustees (traditionally known as Honorary Officers). The meeting provides members an opportunity to ask the Society’s President and Trustees questions about the future of the Society and a chance to network with other members. The meeting will also include the official announcement and introduction of the incoming President, Professor Julie Lovegrove, new Trustee members and Advisory Council Members.
Following the ACM, Nutrition Society members and non-members are invited to attend the presentation of the senior Gowland Hopkins Award, and hear the award-winning research presented by the award winner from 17:30 to 18:15 announced by the Society’s President, Professor Philip Calder. Find out more about the Gowland Hopkins award. Following the presentation of the award, all are welcome to attend the drinks reception to network with other members, Trustees and Advisory Council members.
Registration to this free event will open soon. Please contact Emily Ooi, the Society’s Conference Coordinator, to register your interest.
