Micronutrients are essential regulators of metabolic and physiological processes in humans. Suboptimal intakes or excesses may cause developmental and chronic diseases particularly in those who are genetically susceptible.
This educational workshop supported and organised by Robert Gordon University and the Micronutrients Genomics Project (MGP) explores the latest discoveries on the genetic basis of micronutrient bioavailability and bioefficacy. It also provides a forum for open discussion and networking for scientists, health professionals, students and industry partners interested in translating nutrigenetic knowledge into practice.
