The FENS summer school is hosted by the Serbian Nutrition Society and the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade, on behalf of the Federation of European Nutrition Societies (FENS).

It is aimed at young scientists (students - master/doctoral - and post-docs) preferentially with an epidemiological or public health background that would like to update their knowledge on how to translate scientific findings into recommendations. It will focus in particular on food based dietary guidelines (FBDGs).

In this summer school, you will meet leading experts in the field from Europe as well as many local scientists from a very interesting region of Europe. The lectures span from conception to practical aspects of Food Based Dietary Guidelines (FBDGs) and will include broader topics of use and the translation of scientific data for public health initiatives.

The week long FENS Summer School supports professional and personal capacity building by providing a stimulating atmosphere to update participants knowledge, to learn about perspectives of scientific  approaches, and to build up their networks with likeminded people in a supportive atmosphere.
