During this 60 minute webinar, Dr Clare Pettinger and Dr Pamela Mason will explore opportunities for nutrition professionals surrounding environmentally sustainble diets. Dr Pamela Mason will first set the environmental context, i.e. the impact of the diet on greenhouse gas (GHG), carbon; water soil and land. Dr Mason will provide evidence to show how dietary change can potentially improve environmental impact, and assess what other countries are doing to date.
Dr Clare Pettinger will then introduce the more practical aspects of the topic and how nutritional professionals can better engage and contribute to sustainable diets. Particular focus will be given to the BDA One Blue Dot campaign.
