This one day workshop event aims to discuss the essentials of human nutrition research including assessment of diet and nutrient intake including novel omics approaches, of body composition and anthropometry, of nutrient status, and of clinical trial design, conduct and data reporting. The challenges of nutrition research in older people will be discussed and we will hear the older person’s perspective.
The aim of this workshop is for attendees to have the opportunity to hear experts and to discuss relevant experiences. The output will be a Best Practice publication; workshop attendees will be acknowledged in the publication.
This workshop is FREE and is open to students, early career and senior researchers, clinicians, industry professionals and older adults.
Assistance for travel for a limited number of early career researchers is available (please email Professor Philip Calder for details).
