This interactive and diverse conference has been designed specifically for students by The Nutrition Society Student Representative and Student Body. The developmental and supportive focus of the conference will provide a unique platform for delegates to increase their knowledge across a range of disciplines and areas of nutrition research.

This interactive and diverse conference has been designed specifically for students by The Nutrition Society Student Representative and Student Body.  The developmental and supportive focus of the conference will provide a unique platform for delegates to increase their knowledge across a range of disciplines and areas of nutrition research.

The Student Conference 2017 will include sessions intended to help students learn and develop essential professional interpersonal skills in readiness for the world of work. Students will have the opportunity to engage with employers from industry, academia and public health. The conference will feature oral communication sessions in which students from across the international nutrition community are provided with the opportunity to present their work in front of peers and the Nutrition Society Student Representative.

Who are the Nutrition Society Student Representative and Student Body?

The Society’s Student Representative represents all Student Body members and sits on The Nutrition Society Council to highlight views and opinions on behalf of nutrition students from across the country.  The Student Body is formed of students from across the UK and Ireland who have volunteered to represent all students from their area and University.  The Student Body supports the Student Representative with views and opinions on specific topics, represents students across the country and assists with arranging Nutrition Society events, including conferences and social activities.

Who should attend?
