The Society’s Summer Conference takes place on 12-15 July 2022 at Sheffield Hallam University.
The overarching theme of this conference highlights sustainability- sustainability is a large, diverse and contemporary issue consisting of environmental, societal and health perspectives which will be addressed from varying angles.
This meeting will consider how to build ethical food systems, tackle inequalities and sustain health and wellbeing for future generations.
The Society is pleased to note close to 100 abstracts have been submitted so far.
As the first Summer Conference the Society has hosted since 2018, it will return to a face-to-face format and will not be offered to an online audience.
At a recent Trustee Meeting the costs for hosting the conference were reviewed, and it was unanimously agreed the Society is in a position to allocate funds to subsidise the delegate fees by up to 50%.
