We have an exciting new vacancy for a Marketing Officer to join our team, based in Hammersmith, London. Working as part of the Science Team, the post holder will lead on the marketing of all Society activities including the conference portfolio, the Academy, our journals and membership. Working closely with our in-house Graphic Design Lead, the role will focus on creating marketing campaigns to drive engagement and evaluate the success of activity.  

The team are all committed to excellence and working collaboratively to achieve our mission ‘to advance the scientific study of nutrition and its application to the maintenance of human and animal health’. The Marketing Officer will be integral to engaging national and international audiences and promoting the latest on nutrition as well as Society activity. Together as a community, we work to accelerate the development of excellent evidence-based nutritional science, for an informed and healthier society.

You will be joining the Society at a time of growth, with new initiatives for 2024, all underpinned by the Society’s new brand. To be successful in this busy and fulfilling role, you will need excellent communication skills as well as experience in creating innovative promotional materials to promote brands and their activities. This role will suit you if you are looking to work autonomously within a wider team to build your experience in creating and delivering marketing campaigns for a wide range of activities, with direct visibility over campaign success. Time and project management skills are essential, as well as the ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders.

 

Location: Hammersmith, London. Some travel around the UK and Ireland may be required.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £32-35k
