Be recognised for your excellence in nutritional science
The Cuthbertson Award recognises scientists or clinicians at an early stage of their career for excellence in clinical nutrition and/or metabolism research providing an evidence base for clinical practice.
Being recognised will raise the awareness of your research and contribute to the success of your career.
2016 Cuthbertson Award winner, Dr Sinead Duggan (Trinity College Dublin) shares what being awarded the Cuthbertson Award meant to her
'I was thrilled and honoured to be awarded the Cuthbertson Award in December 2016. Having been involved in nutrition-related research for almost a decade, I was more than aware of the exceptional calibre of the previous recipients.
Since the award, there has been significant interest in our department's research from around the globe, including requests for further information, and interest in establishing collaborative projects.'
To be recognised for your work, apply for the 2017 Cuthbertson Award.
The winner of the 2017 award will be invited to present their winning research at the Winter Conference in London on 5 December during the Cuthbertson Medal Lecture, and be presented with the Cuthbertson medal. The winner will be invited to submit a research paper, which will be published in Proceedings of the Nutrition Society (PNS).
