What Is The Nutrition Society?
The Nutrition Society was established in 1941 ‘to advance the scientific study of nutrition and its application to the maintenance of human and animal health'.
We are the largest Learned Society for Nutrition in Europe. Our members work in a range of fields and many sit on key advisory committees. The Society holds regular conferences – the main one being the Annual Summer Meeting, which in 2010 will be hosted by Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK.
