Human nutrition through the 'seven ages'

A meeting organised by the Royal Society of Medicine Food & Health Forum and the McCarrison Society for nutrition and health.

This meeting will be following varying nutritional needs, stage by stage through the lifecycle: preconception to infancy, childhood and puberty, performance and adulthood into later life. Mr Matt Lovell, Nutrition Consultant to the English Rugby Team will deliver a lecture on “Performance: Sports nutrition – the science to make your life a great one”.

Outstanding athletic performance requires good genes, disciplined training and appropriate nutrition. However, it is often 'novel' dietary interventions which feature in the headlines when nutrition's impact on sports performance comes to public attention.
