The American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) Annual Research Conference is a unique forum that brings together researchers and clinicians for a two-day program that is dedicated to increasing knowledge, stimulating research and promoting prevention and treatment of cancer through nutrition, physical activity and weight management.

Food & Health Entrepreneurship Program (FHEP) is a one-week course open for international academic researchers and engineers working in the fields of nutrition and food science focused to move ahead the research to the food industry.

This meeting brings together researchers with interests in cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system from Ireland, UK, Europe and America. The speakers are carrying out cutting edge research on the pharmacology of cannabinoids and their importance under physiological and pathophysiological conditions.

There will be talks chosen from the submitted abstracts as well as poster sessions. This meeting will offer bursaries for young scientists and networking opportunities for all.

The British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) 2013 conference will provide delegates with the opportunity to engage in discussions relating to the next generation of developments in the sport and exercise sciences.The 2012 Olympic Games highlighted how scientific innovation can promote world leading performance, and also promote a legacy aimed at enhancing the health-related fitness of a nation.

This meeting is to highlight the growing national and international interest in cereal grain research and food product innovation. The speakers will highlight the substantially strengthened scientific basis for a new generation of cereal-based products with enhanced nutritional and health benefits and the need for action to enhance public health communications by policymakers and national and global food authorities.

'Obesity, Physical Activity and Cancer'

The scientific sessions will examine the links between obesity, physical activity and cancer incidence/survival. They will examine important biomarkers and early life events in relation to cancer risk, as well as exploring the molecular events and cellular mechanisms that underlie these processes.
