e-Library of Evidence for Nutrition Actions (eLENA)
WHO today launched the electronic Library of Evidence for Nutrition Actions (eLENA).
As part of a global effort to improve maternal, young child and infant health, e-LENA brings together the latest evidence-informed WHO guidelines, commentaries and evidence resources on the broad topic of nutrition.
The aim of this new e-library is to stimulate effective nutrition actions and guide programme and policy design.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership is worldwide and is open to applicants who can demonstrate 'a genuine interest in the science of human or animal nutrition'.
SECTIONS
The Irish Section includes over 250 Nutrition Society members and is chaired by Dr Mary Ward.
The Scottish Section of Nutrition Society has a mailing list of over 300 members and exists to arrange research meetings easily accessible to Scottish Members.
