Council

Council representatives usually serve for a term of 3 years and elections for any vacant posts are held at the Annual Charity Meeting, which takes place each year at the Society's Annual Summer Meeting.

The Council of the Society, which meets twice yearly comprises of the Honorary Officers, Secretaries of the Scottish Regional Section and the Irish Regional Section as well as nine elected members, including a Student Representative.

Enquiries from members who are interested in being elected to Council are welcomed all year round and can be directed to the Society's office.
